Nicolas Jackson got his dream move to Bayern Munich this summer, but only made it off the bench in second-half injury time against parent club Chelsea on Wednesday.
Jackson was granted a loan move to Bayern after Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca deemed the striker surplus to his requirements. The move looked to have collapsed when Liam Delap got injured, but Jackson eventually got his way on deadline day.
Bayern have an option to buy Jackson next summer – which becomes an obligation if certain clauses are met – and he has so far made two substitute appearances for his new club.

Jackson came off the bench at half time in Bayern’s big win over Hamburg at the weekend, and then came on for just five minutes of injury time in the Champions League against Chelsea this week.

There has been plenty of talk surrounding the circumstances of Jackson’s Chelsea exit, and the striker appeared pleased to see his former teammates during the warm-ups of the opening Champions League match of the campaign.
Having come on as a 91st-minute substitute to see out Bayern’s 3-1 win, Jackson touched the ball just twice – although one was a shot from the centre circle that was well off target.
Still, he posted some images on social media of his run-out accompanied by two emoji hearts to show his love for his new team – one in red and one in white.
He also shared some posts celebrating his appearance, and a video of Bayern players celebrating with fans after full-time. While he didn’t say anything specifically about his early reunion with Chelsea, it was clear he is committed to Bayern.
Nicolas Jackson’s agent confirms striker will never play for Chelsea again
Speaking before the Bayern win over Chelsea, Nicolas Jackson’s agent said the Senegalese striker will ‘absolutely not’ return to Stamford Bridge – even if the permutations needed to trigger the obligation to buy are not met.

As quoted by the Mail, Jackson’s agent Diomansy Kamara said: “Absolutely not [return to Chelsea] Today at Chelsea, the relationship with Maresca isn’t necessarily the best.
“We’re never going to bite the hand that feeds us because Chelsea allowed him to find the European level. He was there for two years and scored 30 goals, so he always had a good relationship.
“Today, we’re looking towards Bayern having a good season. We will see what is best for him. But it’s true that Bayern has been a priority for him for a long time.”
