Gold address a whole range of Tottenham-related topics on his YouTube channel.
One player he mentioned was Wolves attacker Adama Traore, who has been linked to a move to Tottenham on multiple occasions.
The Spurs hierarchy are clearly fans, and Traore’s performance in the warm-up was so impressive that Paratici couldn’t stop looking at him: “I think sometimes people are bewitched by him (Traore), and Fabio Paratici is bewitched by him.

“My goodness, I was watching Paratici, and he was just staring across as they were doing the warm-ups and I could just tell he was just looking at him.
“He was almost more focussed on the Wolves subs warming up than he was Spurs warming up in front of him on the pitch.
“He loves him, he absolutely loves him. He wanted to sign him for Juventus when he was at Wolves for a big fee.
“I would be stunned if that’s not an option they look at if (Bryan) Gil goes out the door, because he’s not really playing for Wolves.

“He’s got less than a year now left on his contract, I’d imagine you’re looking at quite a low fee for him now.
“Conte went and gave him a big, friendly handshake after the game. We’ll see what happens with Traore.
“I just think logically, if they’re looking for someone in the cheaper category that they like, and they clearly wanted to sign in the past, when he went to Barcelona in January, it becomes less of a gamble at that sort of price.”
Paratici couldn’t stop watching Traore warming up
Paratici’s long-term interest in Traore explains why Spurs could make a late move for Spanish international in this window.
As Gold mentions, Traore isn’t starting matches for Wolves right now, although he did score a thunderbolt in the Carabao Cup this week.
The winger would suit Conte’s preference for attack-minded wing-backs.

Traore has a very poor record in terms of goals and assists at Wolves, but may be better suited to being involved in Tottenham’s build-up play.
He would certainly be a cheaper alternative to fellow target Anthony Gordon, and with less than a year left on his contract, Spurs could negotiate a very good deal if they leave it late in the window to make their move.
If Tottenham do manage to make a move, Paratici can continue to watch Traore warming up before games on a much more regular basis.
