Mathys Tel’s potentially impending loan move to Tottenham Hotspur has become the biggest shock to emerge on deadline day.

Ange Postecoglou has “convinced” Tel to sign for Tottenham on loan until the end of the season — giving Spurs supporters another reason to back him as the Bayern Munich striker had initially turned down a move.

Additionally, Harry Kane reportedly persuaded Tel to sign for Tottenham as well, which highlights how much he still adores his boyhood club.
