Arsenal’s track record of bringing through young talents in recent years has been nothing short of exceptional.

Bukayo Saka is a star, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah have both been sold for significant fees, while Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly look like the next big things.

Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly are far from the finished article at this point, but there’s already another top talent coming up behind those two.

Indeed, Max Dowman is making waves at Arsenal despite being just 14 years old.

Arsenal believe Dowman could be a star, and Dowman has already trained with the Arsenal first-team.

Speaking on the Handbrake Off Podcast, Adrian Clarke has been discussing Dowman’s ability and potential, and he has high hopes for the teenager.

Max Dowman looks like a top talent at Arsenal

Clarke spoke incredibly highly of Dowman, claiming that his talent looks ridiculous and that he appears to be a very special player.

The teenager looks like he could well be the next big thing at Arsenal.

“I mean, he (Max Dowman) looks quite frankly ridiculous for a 14 year old, talent wise. He’s left footed, sort of attacking midfielders, ghosts past players, makes good decisions. I mean, I know the levels are completely different,

“To step up way above your age group and to be just so stand out is a bit special, I’ve got to say.”

Dowman is already making waves at the age of 14, and he could be set to make some serious history at Arsenal.

The Gunners have never been afraid to throw a young player in at the deep end, and Dowman could end up becoming Arsenal’s youngest-ever player if he’s called up in the near future.

Mikel Arteta is already responsible for handing out debuts to Arsenal’s two youngest players ever, and he won’t be afraid to put Dowman in his team if he continues to progress.

Of course, nobody wants to pile too much pressure on a player who is so young, but when you’re playing beyond your years like this, it’s hard for fans and pundits to not get excited.

Dowman could well be on course to become something of a history-maker at Arsenal.
