Ange Postecoglou praises Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison

Well, Ange Postecoglou has been raving about Richarlison after the match against Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham beat Forest 2-0 at the City Ground. Brazil International forward Richarlison scored the opening goal for the North London club in the first half.

The 26-year-old found the back of the net when he headed home a brilliant cross from Dejan Kulusevski. The former Watford and Everton forward has scored four goals and given three assists in nine starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs this season.

Tottenham head coach Postecoglou was hugely impressed with Richarlison, just as Clive Allen has been, and has noted how well the Brazilian has been doing in training recently.

Postecoglou said about Richarlison on Sky Sports Premier League (10:16 pm, December 16, 2023): “I’m really pleased for Richy. He is looking good in training which is always an indicator, watching him during the week I was really confident that he could go out there and do another job for us.”

Richarlison starting to deliver for Spurs

Richarlison is one of the best forwards in the Premier League. There is no doubt about it. You do not get to play for Brazil on a regular basis if you do not have quality.

Things have not been rosy for the Brazil international at Spurs, but maybe they are changing for Richarlison now. The forward is scoring goals and is looking very confident on the pitch.

Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou seems to have a lot of faith in the former Everton forward. Perhaps that is why Richarlison is so full of confidence now.
