Jamie Carragher has given his verdict on the goal that Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison scored in the first half against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
The former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit was impressed with Richarlison.
So, what has Jamie Carragher said about Richarlison? Let’s take a look.
Jamie Carragher praises Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison vs Nottingham Forest
Well, Tottenham Hotspur took on Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Spurs broke the deadlock in the match in the second minute of first-half injury time.
Richarlison found the back of the net. The 26-year-old Brazil international headed home a brilliant cross from Dejan Kulusevski.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was on co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports Premier League, and he was impressed by the effort from Richarlison for the goal.
Carragher said (9:47 pm, December 15, 2023): “Fantastic delivery from Dejan Kulusevski. It’s really difficult for the goalkeeper because it’s so flat.
“To be fair to Richarlison, he is really brave. There is a goalkeeper coming out, there is a defender jumping with him. He probably doesn’t see him, he just glances it in.”
Richarlison starting to come good for Tottenham
Richarlison has not had the best of times at Tottenham Hotspur since his move from Everton, but the Brazil international forward is starting to come into his own now.
The 26-year-old has now scored three goals in two matches. Things are looking up for the forward.
Richarlison is also playing well in matches. He is looking more mobile and is trying to be a nuisance for the opposition defences.
We know that Richarlison is a very good forward. After all, he is playing in the Premier League and is also a regular in the Brazil squad.
Maybe, just maybe, Richarlison will now start to score goals regularly for Tottenham, who are very much in the running for the Premier League top four this season.
