Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho certainly wasn’t impressed with one or two of his teammates against Liverpool today.
United started the game very brightly and Erik ten Hag quickly watched his side go ahead through Scott McTominay’s latest goal.

The Scot showed his typical goal-scoring instinct when following up on Garnacho’s effort to prod home.
However, United then failed to make the most of that advantage, eventually allowing Liverpool back into the game, even when they weren’t playing too well.
That being said, Garnacho seemed to spot that danger, and looked extremely determined to go 2-0 ahead when United were still on top during the first part of the first half.
And there were a couple of occasions in which the Argentinian was left incredibly frustrated with the attackers around him for not showing a ruthless touch.
Garnacho was ‘screaming’ at Marcus Rashford to pass to him in move, and was then similarly ignored by McTominay just minutes later.
Journalist Simon Stone was watching the game for BBC Sport and commented on just how incensed Garnacho was with his United teammates against Liverpool today.
Alejandro Garnacho frustrated with Man United teammate Scott McTominay against Liverpool
The McTominay snub looked to frustrate Garnacho more than anything else, and the winger was left perplexed by the decision making around him.
Stone noted: “Alejandro Garnacho is cutting a frustrated figure on Manchester United’s right wing.

“The Argentine was screaming for a pass on United’s last two attacking raids and first Marcus Rashford, then Scott McTominay ignored him and the move broke down.
“Garnacho was obviously unhappy on both occasions.”
Of course, Garnacho’s frustration with his United teammates against Liverpool today was coming from the right place, he simply wanted to win.
And on that note, it would be interesting to hear the winger’s thoughts on the lack of protection in front of the United defence today.
Ten Hag’s team selection worked in an attacking sense, but there didn’t seem sufficient plan to cover for Casemiro’s absence.
McTominay, who was said to be valued at around £40m in the past, added a lot going forwards but not as much in front of his own goal.
Clearly an area that needs to be addressed in the summer, and Ten Hag will need to start getting these big calls right.
But today his side were ultimately able to get the job done, and a trip to Wembley awaits.
All that being said, Ten Hag was left heavily praising one player before today’s game.
