Arsenal target Ousmane Diomande’s latest Instagram activity is interesting

Ousmane Diomande has been on Arsenal’s radar for a while now.

The Ivory Coast international was linked with a move to the Emirates when he was still at FC Midtjylland. Sporting Lisbon signed him last year, but the Gunners still like him.

Numerous reports have claimed that Arsenal could make a move to sign Diomande in the summer. Mikel Arteta’s side even scouted him during the African Cup of Nations in January.

Now, Diomande has added fuel to all the rumours as eagle-eyed Arsenal fans have spotted his Instagram activity following the Gunners’ win against Porto this week.

Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz all celebrated the big win on the social media platform, and Diomande has liked all of their posts.

Whether this actually means anything is unclear, but Arsenal’s interest is definitely there, and it will be interesting to see if they will make a move to sign him this summer.

Arsenal will have to pay big money to sign Diomande

Ousmane Diomande is ‘one of the most exciting young talents in Europe‘ right now.

The Sporting Lisbon defender, still only 20, has been amazing over the last year. He performed magnificently against Arsenal in the Europa League as well.

Diomande will have plenty of admirers this summer, but Sporting are well protected. They have inserted a £70 million release clause in his contract (The Sun).

If Arsenal really want to sign Diomande, they will have to splash the cash to get him.
