Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro was spotted limping after his side’s defeat against West Ham United last night.

Spurs have had terrible luck with injuries and that has had a massive impact on their results. They have won none of their last five Premier League games, and are out of the top four now. The last thing they need is another injury, especially to someone as good as Porro.

Pedro Porro was spotted limping after Tottenham lost to West Ham

When Tottenham had most of their squad available at the start of the season, they were flying.

Spurs hadn’t lost once in their first 10 Premier League games, and there were even talks about them challenging for the title this season.

However, following key injuries to James Maddison, Micky van de Ven and Rodrigo Bentancur, Spurs have really struggled, and one point from a possible 15 tells the whole story.

Last night’s defeat was a really frustrating one for Tottenham, but what could make it worse is injuries. Son Heung-min, thankfully, has confirmed that he is ‘okay’, but Porro may have picked up a knock.

The Mirror’s journalist Ryan Taylor was in the mixed zone last night, hoping to speak to a few Tottenham players about the result. He has revealed on X that he spotted Porro limping there.

Porro has been excellent for Tottenham

A number of Tottenham’s players have been exceptional this season.

James Madison was the star of the show early on in the campaign, as was Son Heung-min. Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie and Guglielmo Vicario have received huge praise too.

One player who may have gone under the radar is Porro. The £39 million (Sky Sports) Spaniard had a difficult start to life at Tottenham in his first few months there, but he looks fantastic under Ange Postecoglou. He had a really good game last night as well, and if it wasn’t for Richarlison making a meal of his cross, Porro would’ve picked up an assist.

Porro is a hugely important player for Tottenham these days, and Spurs fans will be hoping he will be fit for the game against Newcastle this weekend.
