Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has been spotted in training ahead of the club’s Champions League opener tomorrow and it comes just days after Antonio Conte stopped him from leaving.
Conte admitted last week that Gil was not allowed to join Valencia on loan due to the club not signing a replacement for the 21-year-old.
Los Che boss Gennaro Gattuso said that the deal was almost done to bring Gil back to La Liga on loan.
But Spurs were clearly unable to secure a replacement and Gil was stopped from rejoining Valencia this summer.
Now, the youngster has been spotted in training ahead of Tottenham’s Champions League clash against Marseille tomorrow evening.

Gil spotted in Spurs training
Gil was spotted on Sky Sports News training with the Tottenham first-team this morning.
The Spanish U21 international was left out of Conte’s most recent squad against Fulham on Saturday.
Lucas Moura is currently sidelined due to an injury and it seems that Gil could now be back in the frame to feature for Spurs.
The former Sevilla man seemed disappointed to have not secured a loan move away from the club.
Gil is unlikely to feature heavily for Spurs this season, unless Spurs’ first-choice attackers are sidelined.

The Spaniard enjoyed a successful loan spell at Valencia during the second-half of last season and the La Liga club were clearly keen to bring him back.
But now Gil will have to stay and fight with the likes of Heung-Min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Moura for a place in the Spurs side.
Gil could be an important squad option for Conte over the coming weeks ahead of a packed schedule.
The Italian faces the difficult task of competing in both the Premier League and Europe.
With Gil back in first-team training, the youngster could find himself back amongst the substitutes tomorrow night.
