World Cup star's agent is keen to get him to move to PL after being linked with Arsenal and Spurs - journalist

The agent of Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko is keen to get him to move to the Premier League.

That is according to the Athletic’s Raphael Honigstein, who played down Bayern Munich’s interest in the Germany international.

Teenager Moukoko has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham, among others, amid his contract stand-off with Dortmund.

He will be a free agent at the end of the season if he does not extend his deal and that could spark a real race for his signature.

Moukoko agent wants him to move to Premier League

Honigstein said: “Dortmund would like to keep Moukoko but not at any cost.

“His agent is keen to get him into the Premier League for the new season, so I’m not sure whether an agreement can be reached.

“They are very conscious of their wage structure. I don’t think that Bayern are in for him.

“Moukoko is best playing off another striker; I don’t see him as the big number nine that the German champions are looking for.”

Moukoko looks like being one for the future but it remains to be seen whether he would move somewhere where there is a huge battle to start.

For example, Harry Kane is set as Tottenham’s talisman and Gabriel Jesus will go straight into the Arsenal team when back fit.

It will be interesting to see what Moukoko does because he has huge talent and could be a real asset to a top club for years to come.
