West Ham and Everton are reportedly in the race to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers star Owen Otasowie this summer. The USA international has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Wolves. Five clubs are after Otasowie including Everton and West Ham – and Wolves fans have reacted.

Otasowie, 20, notched up six appearances for Wolves under now-Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo – two of which were starts in the Premier League. Although it was only brief, it was enough to catch the attention of numerous European sides. His contract ends in less than 12 months.

West Ham, Everton eye Otasowie: What do Wolves fans think?

Voetbalkrant claim that West Ham and Everton are two of five clubs looking to sign the one-time USA star this summer. Ajax want him, as do Schalke – who suffered relegation from the Bundesliga last season. But Club Brugge are favourites to get him. The Athletic say he is rated at £5million.

Wolves fans have reacted to the reports that Otasowie, who is seen as a real talent at Wolves, could be off. West Ham need cover in midfield ahead of the Europa League, while Rafa Benitez is renowned for a bargain. Wolves fans want the midfielder to stay, amid interest from West Ham and Everton.
