Alexandre Lacazette could be about to embark on an interesting transfer window, with the player reportedly attracting interest from Inter Milan. If the Arsenal star leaves in January, it might just help Newcastle make a signing.
Lacazette, 30, has been wearing the captain’s armband for Arsenal of late – in place of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. His form has been excellent, having a hand in three goals in his last three Premier League games – one goal, two assists.
Inter Live report that France international Lacazette has been offered a move to the Nerrazzuri. It remains to be seen whether Inter are interested in signing Lacazette, but there has certainly been the links in the past.
But Arsenal might want to sell Lacazette in the January window, if they are unable to hand him a new contract. January represents the last chance for Arsenal to get a fee – and selling him to Inter might just help Newcastle.

Why Arsenal selling Lacazette to Inter could end up helping Newcastle…
Meanwhile, The Sun report that Newcastle want 35-year-old Dzeko – who is continually proving that age is just a number. Dzeko, who joined Inter in the summer from Roma, is a player Martin Keown likened to Alan Shearer.
The two-time Premier League winner scored 119 goals in 260 games for Roma – and at Inter, he has 11 goals and four assists in 23 Inter games. It remains to be seen if Newcastle could tempt Dzeko into joining the Toon.
But if Inter sign Lacazette, then that might relegate Dzeko to the bench under Simone Inzaghi – and it might just sway him over a move to Newcastle. Arsenal allowing Lacazette to join Inter in January, helps Newcastle get Dzeko.
