Dominic Solanke to Tottenham is a transfer story that is moving very quickly as Spurs look to sign a new striker.
It was reported on Friday morning by David Ornstein that a deal for Solanke to move to Tottenham is close.
However, as with any transfer involving Tottenham Hotspur, things aren’t that straightforward.
Indeed, according to Sky Sports’ Mark McAdam, this move may not be as close as some suggest.

Dominic Solanke to Tottenham has a long way to go
According to McAdam, there is a long way to go in the deal that would potentially see Solanke come to Tottenham
The journalist says that the final details of this deal aren’t close to being agreed just yet.
However, he also notes that things could move very quickly on this front.
Solanke to Tottenham should get over the line
Tottenham aren’t that close to finalising a deal for Solanke just yet, but this one should still get over the line.
According to David Ornstein, a fee has been agreed, and the player is desperate to join Tottenham.
If you’re that far along in a transfer, something drastic has to happen for a deal to collapse.
Of course, this is Tottenham Hotspur we’re talking about, so anything could still happen. However, this one does seem to be far enough along to suggest that a move is very likely.
Solanke would be an excellent signing for Tottenham as he comes off the back of the best season of his career.
The Bournemouth striker is brimming with confidence at the moment, and after scoring 19 Premier League goals last season, it’s fair to say he’s ready to make that next step p to join a big club.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on, because, as McAdam reports, this could move quickly.
