After making his first minutes in his return against Crystal Palace, Rodrigo Bentancur now seems ready to make an impact for Tottenham Hotspur again.
Bentancur has been absolutely key in recent years but has yet to get started under Ange Postecoglou since he arrived at the club.

The Uruguayan has been carefully making his way back to full fitness following a lengthy knee injury.
And Bentancur’s personal physio, Daniel Fernandez, has now been detailing plans for the midfielder to return for Uruguay this month too.
Fernandez believes Bentancur is now ready to play for Tottenham and Uruguay and says the two are in constant contact.
Speaking to Sport 890, he said: “We did a very important job so that he is confident and so that the injured leg does not have any difficulty.
“Last month he did 120 training sessions, which is ten per week. The volume of work he did is very important to give stability to the leg.”
Fernandez continued: “Uruguay’s coaching staff is constantly in contact with Rodrigo and Tottenham. They have all of his data.
“He is fit to play, but the coaching staff will evaluate whether he can play the 100 minutes that are played today.”
Fernandez believes Bentancur is ready to play for both Tottenham and Uruguay
Of course, Bentancur does now face a very difficult task to win back his start at Spurs.
Although he’ll be in no rush following his injury, the midfielder may not find it easy displacing Pape Matar Sarr or Yves Bissouma.

Both have enjoyed incredible improvements whilst Bentancur has been out, and are two of the first names on Postecoglou’s team sheet.
Moreover, Tottenham are now even being linked with Celtic’s Matt O’Riley in the near future, a player Ange worked with before.
The climate has certainly changed a lot since Bentancur last played for the club.
However, when he is fully fit, there’s no doubt that Bentancur will be key for Uruguay and Tottenham once again.
Postecoglou seemingly doesn’t have too many selection headaches right now, even if Emerson Royal is pushing for a start.
And Bentancur’s imminent return to full fitness will be a big boost.
