TBR Football have now learned how Liverpool are feeling as yet another twist occurs between Marc Guehi and Crystal Palace.

The England international had started his medical in London after Liverpool and Crystal Palace agreed a fee of £35m.

Even after Igor Julio saw a move to Crystal Palace collapse, the transfer was still expected to go through, with the Eagles also set to sign Jaydee Canvot from Toulouse for £25m.

However – in a new development – TBR Football have now learned the latest on behalf of Liverpool and Crystal Palace as Marc Guehi finds himself in limbo.

Graeme Bailey has now been told that Liverpool think this £35m deal will still materialise, even if doubts are now starting to surround the move.

TBR Football‘s Chief Correspondent says: “This deal has turned again, it is literally changing by the hour.

“I am told that Guehi has been informed the deal is in doubt, because of Palace’s concerns over finding a replacement – despite the fact they allowed him to have the medical.

“Liverpool still think it happens, but Palace have made the call to Guehi to let him know the situation. This may not happen, is what I am led to believe.”
