What Kingsley Coman could still do on deadline day amid Arsenal links

Kingsley Coman is a player who will be in the spotlight on transfer deadline day.

The French winger has been strongly linked to Arsenal, and he’s apparently questioning his future at Bayern Munich.

Speaking on Sky Sports News, Dharmesh Sheth has shared an update on Coman’s situation ahead of the end of the transfer window.

According to the journalist, Arsenal do want a winger on deadline day, and Coman is an option.

However, according to Sheth, Coman is undecided on his future, claiming that he wants to assess all of his options at this point and he hasn’t ruled out staying at Bayern Munich.

Kingsley Coman could stay at Bayern Munich

Sheth shared what he knows about Coman.

“Kingsley Coman was the subject of a number of clubs’ interest, Al-Hilal made an offer, and there was an unnamed Premier League club who made enquiries, and now we understand that club is Arsenal,” Sheth said.

“It is understood they want to bring in a winger to provide more competition for Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. It is something they may act upon in the final hours of the transfer window. Kingsley Coman, for his part, wants to assess all of his options, staying at Bayern Munich hasn’t been ruled out.”

How Kingsley Coman feels about Bayern Munich

It’s not surprising to hear that Coman could stay at Bayern. After all, it was stated earlier this week that he’s very settled at Bayern Munich.

Indeed, Ben Jacobs claimed that Coman is very settled at Bayern.

“For now, he’s settled, he has a new, young family, so his next move has to be right professionally and personally. I’m not sure about the Premier League links. It’s true that he’s been discussed internally by both Tottenham and Arsenal, but you have two other clubs as well, PSG and Barcelona,” Jacobs said.

You can’t blame Coman for staying if he has a young family, and, unfortunately for Arsenal, this may be a difficult deal to do.
