Gary Neville has given his thoughts on the situation surrounding Tottenham Hotspur and Harry Kane.

What’s the story?

Everyone knows by now what’s happened with regards to the centre-forward.

But, there seem to be conflicting reports regarding the 28-year-old.

Most of the media publications/reporters are suggesting the England international has missed training on his own accord over the last two days.

However, the Daily Mail are claiming the striker is quarantining after returning from his short holidays.

Neville has been voicing his discontent with Kane after his absence from training if it is a personal choice.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Manchester United legend says the player is on ‘collision course’ with the club. He also said ‘something significantly wrong’ must’ve happened behind the scenes.

When talking about the situation, Neville said: “You still have to go and stand with them and sit in the dressing-room, but it’s clear now that there’s a collision course.”

“He wouldn’t do this unless there was something significantly wrong behind the scenes.”

Throughout his entire career, the centre-forward has been the model professional.

Almost everyone has spoken about how hard the ace works both on and off the field.

So, it proved an incredible shock for most when Kane failed to turn up for training.

However, as Neville has suggested, there’s no excuses, but, the former defender is right about the Tottenham/Kane situation.
