Conor Gallagher to Tottenham is a transfer rumour that has constantly been doing the rounds over the past few transfer windows.
The England international is a player Ange Postecoglou absolutely loves, and Spurs could make a move this summer.
Chelsea are said to be anticipating a Tottenham move for Gallagher, but now, a different side of this story has been told.
Indeed, speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk Podcast, Dan Kilpatrick has claimed that Spurs may not actually go in for Gallagher.
The journalist says that his understanding is that if Spurs were to go in for Gallagher, it would’ve been before the June 30th financial deadline.
Kilpatrick says that Chelsea can now be a bit more bullish in terms of their valuation for Gallagher.

What Dan Kilpatrick has heard about Tottenham and Conor Gallagher
The journalist spoke about the England international.
“I mean my understanding with Spurs’ interest in Gallagher was that it was always a more likely deal to be done before the PSR deadline, before June 30th because Spurs were holding the aces. Now that deadline has passed, I think Chelsea can be a bit more bullish on the price.”
Chelsea are still under Conor Gallagher pressure
Kilpatrick says that Chelsea can be a bit more bullish with Gallagher now, but the Blues are still under pressure to sell the midfielder.
Indeed, Gallagher is entering the final year of his contract, and it may be now or never in terms of cashing in on the midfielder.
Tottenham could sign Gallagher on a free transfer next summer if he doesn’t sign a new deal, so they’re not going to overpay in this window.
There could still be some movement on the Gallagher front this summer, and it wouldn’t be a shock at all if Spurs did enter this race and push to get this signing over the line.
