The England international has been at Arsenal for less than a week, having been unveiled by the Gunners on Saturday ahead of the 5-0 win over Leeds.

Despite this, Eberechi Eze has been able to start training immediately – after preparing for the 2025/26 campaign properly with Crystal Palace – and TBR Football understand Arsenal are delighted by what they are seeing.
Arsenal taken aback by how focused Eberechi Eze is
Graeme Bailey can now confirm to TBR Football that the 27-year-old has made a superb first impression at Arsenal.
Our Chief Correspondent says: “From what I am told, Eze has been a breath of fresh air. He is different to anything they have in their squad, but in a good way. Full of life and passion but a full on professional.
“One thing I am hearing is that he is really focused, he knows the hard work is only starting now – getting to Arsenal is not the finish, this is just the beginning for him and that has really impressed everyone at the club.”
Eze has dreamed of playing for Arsenal ever since his childhood, and even admitted to Ian Wright that he felt like he was on trial every time he played against the Gunners – eager to impress and earn a route back to the Emirates Stadium.
The man born in Greenwich was released by Arsenal at the age of 13 – but has finally made his way back to his boyhood club in romantic fashion.
Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka have surely helped
Eze appears to be a genuinely warm and kind character – few people, if any, in football have had a bad word to say about the Londoner.
Besides his endearing nature, the new Arsenal No.10 has also surely been aided by the presence of fellow England internationals Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka in N5.

Eze has already been spotted jumping on Rice as the Arsenal No.41 playfully gave his new club-mate a piggyback in training.
Saka has also called Eze “class” in the past, with all three appearing to get on very well together whilst on international duty previously.
Therefore, the duo have surely helped the £68m man settle in at the Emirates Stadium.
