Aaron Ramsdale was furious after West Ham United bagged their third goal against Arsenal in the League Cup last night.

That’s according to Football.London, with the outlet sharing what Ramsdale was spotted doing after conceding his third of the evening.

Ramsdale was given the nod last night as he continues his run as Arsenal’s cup goalkeeper.

The 25-year-old hasn’t started in the Premier League since the 3-1 win over Manchester United at the start of September.

It’s fair to say that Ramsdale didn’t really put a foot wrong last night and was unfortunate to concede three goals.

The Englishman appeared to be fouled in the build-up to Ben White’s own goal from a West Ham corner and Mohammed Kudus’ second was almost unstoppable.

For Jarrod Bowen’s effort, the ball took a wicked deflection which steered it onto the edge of Ramsdale’s fingertips and into his goal.

And Ramsdale was spotted showing his frustrations at the London Stadium after a disappointing night for the shot-stopper.

Football.London reports that Ramsdale let out a loud yell right after Bowen’s goal for West Ham last night.

It’s noted that his reaction was even heard above the cheering West Ham supporters. The goalkeeper then slammed his arms against the ground in frustration.

It’s fair to say it wasn’t an ideal return to first-team action for Ramsdale on what was a disappointing night for Arsenal.

The £30 million goalkeeper has recently lost his place to David Raya and would have been hoping to impress on the night.

He did make one good stop to deny Jarrod Bowen at the start of the second half but he didn’t look totally comfortable with the ball at his feet.

There have been suggestions that Ramsdale could consider his Arsenal future should his game time under Arteta fail to improve.

It would be a huge shame to see Ramsdale depart in January off the back of a difficult spell at Arsenal.

But after last night’s disappointing defeat, it’s difficult to see him forcing his way back into Arteta’s side anytime soon.
