Bruno Fernandes has singled out a Manchester United star for praise as the Red Devils beat Chelsea in the Premier League.

Back to winning ways for Ruben Amorim, and it was needed. After derby day disappointment last weekend, Manchester United desperately needed to bounce back – and they did so against Enzo Maresca’s side.

Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo were enough to claim all three points in a game that saw red cards for Casemiro and Robert Sanchez.

Mbeumo, although not on the scoresheet, was one of the best players on the pitch. His relentless attacks and directness have added something completely different to United’s frontline this season.

Fellow Portugal and United teammate to Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, was also found in the comment section.

He added a love heart and a clapping hands emoji, echoing the sentiment that he was impressed with the Cameroonian’s performance.

United haven’t made many particularly good purchases in the transfer market in recent years, but Mbeumo looks to be a good one early on in his Red Devils career.

Next up, it’s Brentford for United, where Mbeumo will face his former club at his old stadium. Will he get a positive reception? We’ll find out at 12:30 pm on Saturday.
