Manchester United eased some of the pressure on head coach Ruben Amorim by registering an important win in their Premier League clash with rivals Chelsea.
The Red Devils had only picked up one win heading into the match, which was a late one over newly promoted Burnley.
After Man United slumped to defeat in the Manchester derby, questions were raised over the future of Ruben Amorim once more.
The head coach has struggled to gather any momentum in the Premier League, as his dogmatic tactical approach has come under fire.
However, in a match with the pressure increased, Man United responded.
Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro sealed a 2-1 win over Chelsea, in a match that had plenty of drama.
It wasn’t always made easy, but there was one area that Amorim appeared particularly pleased with.

Ruben Amorim pleased with Man United’s aggression against Chelsea
Plenty has been said about this Man United team and their ability to go and not only get results, but put on a performance too.
For large chunks of their victory over Chelsea, there were some good signs, though there were mitigating circumstances for the Blues.
An early red card to Robert Sanchez naturally changed the dynamic of the game, but that was evened up before half-time as Casemiro received a second yellow card at 2-0.
Overall, though, Man United looked better, which has eased the pressure on Amorim for now.
Speaking to the press after the game, the manager was impressed with one particular area, as he said: “We started the game really well, really aggressive.
“We were so aggressive in the second balls. We had the sending off with Casemiro, we like to complicate our game always but it was a good day.
“I felt the urgency, of course the sending off helped us. We had to be more clinical to finish the game off sooner.”
That lack of an aggressive edge was something that the Red Devils came under fire for after the Manchester derby, with no bookings in the game and not even a hint of a frustrated tackle.
Things clearly changed in the clash with Chelsea, and nobody summed up the performance quite as much as Casemiro did.

Casemiro performance against Chelsea sums up Manchester United moment
Casemiro’s evening at Old Trafford was a bit of a microcosm for Manchester United’s evening as a whole.
It was, for the most part, an impressive display, not least when he arrived at the back post to score the second goal in the match, which ended up being the difference.
Casemiro’s overall performance saw him snapping into tackles, ensuring that he won the second ball on plenty of occasions.
That aggression didn’t quite pay off for him, though, as he was sent off for two yellow card challenges.
It made Man United’s evening tougher, as they stumbled their way over the finishing line to win 2-1.
Casemiro’s performance had all of the good and the bad that the Red Devils have endured, but they finally came out on top in a big encounter.
Now, the aim is to push on.
