'We've heard': Journalist claims 'incredible' PL player could sign for Everton this summer
Christian Eriksen could join Everton from Brentford this summer with plenty of interest in the Danish playmaker ahead of the transfer window.
Eriksen enjoyed a stunning comeback campaign at Brentford but the short term nature of his contract has piqued interest from many teams.
TalkSPORT claim that Everton are among them as Frank Lampard looks to reshape his squad after last season’s narrow brush with relegation.
It also suggested that Eriksen could stick around out of loyalty to the club who gave him a way back into elite football.

Eriksen could join Everton
Their journalist Alex Crook said: “Brentford have offered him a deal to become their highest paid player.
“I know there’s interest from at least two Premier League clubs. We believe he wants to play in the Champions League.
“I was told that his family are quite settled in London, that would obviously link him to Tottenham, we’ve heard Everton as a potential destination.
“My hunch is that he will leave Brentford, although I know some journalists in Denmark have said that he will stay because he owe them a debt of gratitude.”
Eriksen is now 30 and he faces a big decision about what he wants to do next in his career.
He could jump ship, make a last major move and try and get as high up the Premier League as he can and sign what would probably be his last bumper contract somewhere.
Or, he can stick around and show his appreciation for Brentford for taking him on when all these other clubs who are interested now could have done but didn’t.
Tottenham have been strongly linked with bringing back their ‘incredible’ former playmaker but he has other offers too and we will wait to see what happens after the window opens this week.
