West Ham United opened up their Premier League account with a 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa on the weekend.
The Hammers were second best for large portions of the clash and evidently are still a work in progress under Julen Lopetegui.

West Ham ready to submit bid for Tammy Abraham
West Ham have been linked to Tammy Abraham for most of the summer transfer window.
Abraham, who’s been labelled ‘one of the best strikers in the world’ per FourFourTwo, is expected to depart Roma this summer and a return to the Premier League seems to be his most likely destination.
The Hammers are one of the interested parties and are now ready to submit an offer in excess of £17m, according to Il Romanista journalist Simone Valdarchi, via MilanNews24.
“During the transfer market, many Premier League teams were linked to Abraham, but without anything so concrete,” Valdarchi said.
“To date, West Ham seems to be the most interested club and ready to offer just over €20m.
“As for the player’s will, I believe that the possibility of playing for Milan fascinates him, even if the Premier League would be a homecoming for him.”
Tammy Abraham statistics
Abraham endured a really tough season last year as he spent the majority of it on the sidelines through injury.
The former Chelsea man made just nine appearances across all competitions, netting just once against Napoli.
Though, the previous campaign he scored nine goals whilst laying on seven assists, helping his side to the Europa League final under Jose Mourinho.
