West Ham United have made one Premier League striker one of their top targets for the summer transfer window.
It has been a tough season for the Hammers. While they remain in the Europa League and sit in the top-half of the Premier League table, there is real discontent amongst the fans.
David Moyes’ position beyond this season looks to be uncertain. They have lost their last three games, conceding 11 and scoring none. Nevertheless, the Irons are making plans ahead of the transfer window opening.
West Ham very interested in Dominic Solanke this summer
And according to a report from The Telegraph, West Ham have identified Dominic Solanke as one of their top targets for the summer. The Hammers have been watching the Bournemouth talisman closely this season. And several clubs are expected to explore whether they could sign the 26-year-old over the coming months.

Solanke is enjoying, by far, the best Premier League campaign of his career. The former Liverpool starlet has scored 14 goals in the top flight. Ten of those goals have come since mid-November.
Unsurprisingly, he has been linked with a number of clubs. Arsenal were reportedly interested in Solanke heading into the January window.
Meanwhile, Solanke is also on Tottenham’s radar. But West Ham’s need for a new goalscorer is arguably so much greater.
Hammers desperately need further reinforcements up front
Jarrod Bowen is the only West Ham player with more than six league goals to his name this season. It has been a pretty poor year for the likes of Michail Antonio and Danny Ings.
Thierry Henry labelled Solanke’s form ‘brilliant‘ earlier this season. He is certainly showing why he has previously been on the books of Chelsea and Liverpool.
And if his performances this year are a sign of what is to come from Solanke in the coming years, then he could definitely prove to be an outstanding signing for West Ham.
