West Ham United are currently in pursuit of a new attacking player as David Moyes looks to bolster his front line this month.
Although the Hammers‘ personnel crisis up front is showing signs of abating, there’s still scope for Moyes to bring in reinforcements.
There have been solid links between West Ham and FC Nordsjaelland’s Ibrahim Osman in recent days, but he’s not the only target.
TalkSPORT have reported that the Hammers have spoken with Al-Ittihad attacker Jota over a potential January move.
The report claims that West Ham are one of three Premier League clubs who have held talks with the 24-year-old winger.

Jota has struggled in Saudi Arabia since his £25million move from Celtic, barely getting a look-in at his new club.
He has been unable to get much game time due to a rule surrounding how many foreign players can play at one time.
To date, Jota has made just 11 appearances for his club since joining in summer, clocking up just over 500 minutes and two goals.
The reported West Ham target is now ‘desperate’ to leave, while Al-Ittihad are ‘happy to cut their losses’, according to talkSPORT.
Jota would be a good shout for West Ham – TBR View
West Ham didn’t replace Gianluca Scamacca last summer, Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta are injured, and Mohammed Kudus is still at the Africa Cup of Nations.
As a result, West Ham really could do with reinforcing their attacking ranks, and Jota would be a great shout for the club as he looks to get his career back on track.
Ange Postecoglou previously deemed Jota “incredible”, while Scottish football pundit Barry Ferguson described him as a “difference-maker“.
Let’s see what happens in the coming days. It looks as though West Ham have a good chance of progressing in this deal and perhaps getting it over the line.
