West Ham United have reportedly already struck one big deal this week, and it looks as though another is on the right track.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Hammers were reported to have agreed a loan deal for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Now, it looks as though West Ham have firmly set their sights on a talented forward, and are making good progress on that front.
On Tuesday evening, reports begun doing the rounds claiming the Hammers had opened talks over FC Nordsjaelland’s Ibrahim Osman.

Now, Ben Jacobs has taken to X to claim that discussions are moving “pretty fast” between West Ham and Osman’s club over the player.
Jacobs relayed Jacob Steinberg’s update saying the Hammers had a bid of €16million plus add-ons rejected. However, discussions are said to be ongoing.
The CBS journalist reported that West Ham and Nordsjaelland are now in talks over a deal around the €18-19million mark, plus add-ons.
West Ham making great progress towards potential Ibrahim Osman signing
This is an exciting development, with West Ham edging closer towards the signing of a very impressive young forward.
Osman has gone from strength to strength in Denmark, clocking up 39 competitive appearances for Nordsjaelland, registering four goals and five assists.
In terms of his style of play, Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout compared the reported Hammers target to Real Madrid and Brazil star Vinicius Jr.
Kulig also listed pace, acceleration, dynamism, dribbling, ball control, creativity, agility and bravery as Osman’s main strengths.
Last year, Nordsjaelland coach Johannes Thorup was quoted by GhanaSoccerNet as saying: “He is a fast winger and striker, and I have huge expectations for him to be skilled.
“He has the pace which is important for us to have on at least one of our strikers.
“I don’t want to say that he has to take over for someone, but people can probably figure out that there is a player who is really good for us in the Super League, who might be really hard to keep.”
