Graham Potter is the new West Ham manager, and one of his first ports of call may be to bring in some players he knows well.
Indeed, Graham Potter likes working with players he knows well. Chelsea tried to sign Moises Caicedo when Potter was the manager there, while he also worked with Marc Cucurella at both Brighton and Chelsea.
Meanwhile, West Ham want to sign Evan Ferguson this month after Potter worked with the Irishman at Brighton.
However, Potter isn’t the only Brighton player that West Ham have an eye on signing.
Indeed, according to The Guardian, West Ham are looking at another player from Potter’s former club.

West Ham interested in Adam Webster
According to The Guardian, West Ham have an interest in Brighton’s Adam Webster.
This report also states that West Ham are confident about landing Evan Ferguson this month, while Sunderland midfielder, Dan Neil, is also a target.
Potter, of course, worked with the £20m defender previously at Brighton, and the pair didn’t actually have the best of records together.

However, Potter is now keen to reunite with Webster, and a deal could be on the cards before the transfer deadline.
What Adam Webster said about Graham Potter at Brighton
West Ham are keen on Webster, and the player himself may just be open to this move.
Indeed, Webster had a great relationship with Graham Potter during his time at Brighton, and, via Sussex Express, the defender spoke highly of his former manager during his time on the south coast.
“From the first day I signed I’ve had a great relationship with the gaffer. The level of detail he goes into every day, he gives us the best chance to go out and perform every week. There is nowhere else I would rather be playing my football.
“We’ve got a good bond, he’s very honest and is approachable. You can chat to him about anything, if you’ve got anything you want to get off your chest his door is always open, that’s massive for us as players.”
“I will be around for a bit longer which some might not be too happy about! But I am sure deep down all the boys are happy that I am here for the long term.”
Webster may well headed to east London, and there’s every chance he could be joined by his current Brighton teammate, Evan Ferguson, too as the Hammers pursue a deal for the Irish striker.
