‘We’ll regret this’: Arsenal fans unsure as Atletico eye up £13m Lacazette bid

Arsenal fans have been giving their reaction to reports today that Alexandre Lacazette could be the subject of a fresh bid from Atletico Madrid.

Reports from Calciomercato, as covered on The Boot Room today, suggest that Atletico are lining up a bid worth around £13m for the French striker.

Lacazette has had mixed success since his mega-money move to the club while Arsene Wenger was manager. However, last season he did do well at times under Mikel Arteta.

The experienced striker his 17 goals in all competitions. It took his tally for the Gunners to 65 in 170 appearances, per Transfermarkt.

But while Arsenal fans have often been split in their opinion of the Frenchman, it seems most would like to see Lacazette stay. Especially, it seems, if the fee is just £13m or so.

Twitter was awash with comments from Gunners supporters discussing the matter. Indeed, many seem unsure on if it’s a smart move to let Lacazette go.
