'We love to see this': Roy Keane compares reported Tottenham target's game with Jude Bellingham
Bellingham was one of the stars of the tournament, attracting praise from all angles and will likely make a big move in the summer.
His pricetag will likely be beyond Spurs but they have been linked with a man who booked his place in the World Cup final last night, Mac Allister.
On ITV’s coverage of the game at 6.20pm, Keane was full of praise for the Brighton man, hailing his ability to run into the box.
Keane on Mac Allister
Keane said: “What I like about him is the timing, drifting in there, we see him do this week in week out.
“Getting himself in the right positions, reading the game, football intelligence, knowing where the ball is going to go.
“He’s definitely growing. He’s new to international football. We love to see this, we were praising Bellingham for it earlier in the tournament for this type of play.
“We don’t often see this from the modern midfielder. Showing his quality and getting better and better as the tournament goes on. Consider he didn’t start the tournament.”
Tottenham are interested in Brighton star Mac Allister, with a number of European sides now admirers of the 23-year-old, according to a report from L’Interista.
Inter Milan are particularly interested but Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Spurs are also admirers of the man who could lift the biggest prize in world football on Sunday.
That would certainly take his profile to a new level and Spurs may find their path to signing him even harder, but Keane is clearly a fan already.
