Video: How Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman celebrated Everton's survival at Goodison Park last night

Everton club icons Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman had survival to celebrate last night after a 3-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace.

At half-time at Goodison Park, it looked like Everton’s bid for safety was going to go down to the final day of the season, as they went in 2-0 down.

But for the first time ever in the Premier League era, they recovered a 2-0 half-time deficit to get a crucial win and earn another season in the Premier League.

Michael Keane, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were the goalscorers and there was a pitch invasion at full-time.

Once the fans had left the ground, there was time for more private celebrations, where Baines and Coleman embraced at Goodison Park.

You can see what it means for both of them in the video below, and the pair encapsulate the passion for the club every Evertonian wants to see.

The relegation scrap is now between Leeds and Burnley, with the Clarets currently outside the drop zone on goal difference going into the final day of the season.

Another club legend in Tim Cahill took to Twitter to celebrate survival at the full-time whistle, thanking the fans for sticking with the team during a really tough season.

The supporters have really come through during the relegation battle, showing up in numbers and making their voices heard whenever they can.

They will no doubt be loud again at Arsenal this weekend, where Everton do not need a result any more but will want to end the season on a high.
