Arsenal’s season might be over and done with but there will be plenty of interest in the upcoming international games for their fans and players.

The Gunners missed out on the Champions League places but there is a feeling of progress being made at The Emirates, with a big summer set to be key for Mikel Arteta again. A number of new signings are wanted to help what is a young and upcoming team become real contenders.

Last summer saw signings like Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale and Sambi Lokonga all signed. All three will be good for the future, and they join a host of young, exciting players already on the Arsenal books. One of those players, of course, is young Brazilian star, Gabriel Martinelli.

Martinelli’s trips away with Brazil will only do Arsenal good. He’s getting experience with one of the best national teams around and, quite clearly, is doing bits in training to impress.

The fact he’s already in the Brazil squad is a boost in itself for Arsenal. He will get experience, knowledge, and confidence from playing with such quality players. That will benefit the Gunners, who should see Martinelli improve as the seasons go on.

The ‘fantastic‘ youngster is already a key squad player. His next step is to nail down a starting XI place and show everyone at Arsenal just how good he is.
