'Very interested': Loads of clubs want to sign 20-year-old Tottenham prospect Conte isn't playing - journalist
Sarr is yet to play a competitive game for Spurs but he did come on at half-time in the midweek friendly draw with Nice.
After that game, Antonio Conte said he is a big fan of the player, who played for Senegal at the World Cup when they were knocked out by England.
But journalist Ben Jacobs said on YouTube that a host of clubs at home and abroad want Sarr if the 20-year-old is allowed to move.
Sarr has plenty of transfer interest
Jacobs said: “With Pape Sarr there is a lot of interest from outside of the Premier League and within.
“Leicester were one club who made an enquiry at the back end of the last window, but their finances were really difficult.
“Outside of the Premier League, Cremonese were another club who were very interested but Tottenham were having none of it.
“I’m also told Valladolid are very interested in the player but Tottenham’s perspective last window was no chance.
“If they have softened on that now then we might be looking at a few destinations outside of the Premier League, although I don’t think Leicester will come back in.”
It remains to be seen what Conte does with Sarr and whether his involvement in the friendly shows he is set for a bigger role at the club.
Sarr has shown that he can handle the pressure of playing on the world stage, but Conte is generally interested in win-now players.
Perhaps a loan move in January to get some gametime would be best for the midfielder as Spurs ready their window plans for next month.
