‘Unreal’: Some Tottenham fans react as they are said to be interested in 14-goal midfielder

Tottenham interest in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has been confirmed – and some Spurs fans on Twitter would love to see him join them.

Kessie’s agent, Massimo Brambati, has admitted that Spurs are one of the clubs interested in the 24-year-old’s signature this summer.

“Now [Kessie] is the one who holds the knife by the handle and can decide what is best for him rather than the club,” Brambati said on Tutto Mercato Web Radio.

“I know that in addition to Inter there are two Premier League teams interested in him, including Tottenham.”

However, TMW has claimed that Kessie could imminently agree a new contract with current club Milan. His contract expires in 2022 as it stands, so they need to move to secure his future.

The report states only a “sensational offer’ from a Premier League club could disrupt him staying at the San Siro.

There is supposedly interest from Spurs in Kessie, but they don’t have a manager to really push for any deal.

AC Milan’s highly-rated star looks a great fit for the Premier League with his power, stamina and technique.

He’s a defensive midfielder that is mature beyond his year. In addition, he scored 14 goals in 50 appearances across all competitions last season.

The Ivory Coast star would already have a familiar face in international teammate Serge Aurier if he ended up at Spurs, but it looks like he could end up staying in Italy.
