£21m reported Gunners target posts intriguing response after ‘come to Arsenal’ Instagram message

Lille midfielder Renato Sanches has posted an intriguing response on Instagram to Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes, amid links with the Gunners.

Gabriel has cheekily said to Sanches “come to Arsenal” in a message on social media.

Meanwhile, Sanches has delivered a mystic direct response by claiming “I’m waiting for your invitation”.

The duo played alongside each other for a year at Lille, so this could be a bit of friendly banter. But, the timing is interesting.

Is It Harder To Win Than The Euros Than The World Cup?!

90min reported last week that Arsenal have informed Lille to be kept updated on the situation of Sanches.

The north London club have asked about the 23-year-old’s price tag. In addition, he would like another crack in the Premier League after previously flopping on loan at Swansea City.

Gabriel, 23, moved to the Emirates Stadium from Lille last summer, so could ex-teammate Sanches follow in his footsteps now?

Renato Sanches would be real statement addition

Sanches, who cost Lille €25million (£21million) in 2019, has been back to the kind of form that saw him burst onto the top stage as a teenager with the Portugal national side.

He’s a central midfielder that could really improve the Arsenal XI because they’re crying out for some more steel in the team.

The athletic midfielder has real power with his stamina and forward runs, but can back that up with his physicality and awareness defensively.

There is a desperate need for the north London club to improve their squad in the window and Lille’s ace would be a great place to start.

It’ll be intriguing to see if there is any truth in the Sanches response to Gabriel.
