Arsenal are well known for having a number of top quality young players both in the first-team and emerging just below and Amario Cozier-Duberry is one of those names.
Mikel Arteta has tried his best to integrate young players into the first-team picture and drew attention to that when giving 15-year-old Ethan Nwaneri his Premier League debut.
Of course, the first-team has a number of young players like Bukayo Saka and Gabi Martinelli featuring on a regular basis. Those two are an inspiration for the players in the 21s at the moment looking to break into the first-team.
And it looks like teenager winger Cozier-Duberry is very much doing his best to make an impression.
Amario Cozier-Duberry sends message to Arteta with fine double v Manchester City
Arsenal’s under-21s played Manchester City last night and it turned into a topsy-turvy game that ended in a stunning 3-3 score line.
It was a remarkable game and one in which Cozier-Duberry did his best to be the main man.

Cozier-Duberry netted himself a double to once again catch the eye. The first came off a rebound from a penalty which he had actually seen saved by the City goalkeeper. However, he had the presence of mind to be on hand to tap home the rebound.
The teenager then scored a fine second to cap another fine display and once again show he is one of the top emerging talents in the youth set up at London Colney.
Cozier-Duberry ‘unplayable’ and on his way to the top
Arsenal’s future is very bright at the moment and as the first-team trundles along nicely, there’s also some big signs coming from the teams below them.
Amario Cozier-Duberry very much seems like one of the top young players to be emerging at the moment.
Lauded by Jack Wilshere for being ‘unplayable‘ on his day, Cozier-Duberry looks like being one of the players with a clear path to the first-team.
“Amario is very exciting and Mikel likes him. He reminds me of Bukayo Saka, plays in the same position as him, needs to get better with his decision-making like Bukayo did, but he’s definitely exciting,” Wilshere said.
“In some moments, he’s unplayable. You give him the ball and he can make things happen. You can set up a team and have a game plan, but when you’ve got individuals like that you’ve got a chance.”
