‘Amazing’ Tottenham player has just picked up an injury concern on international duty ahead of Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bounce back on the weekend following a disappointing result last time out.

And there is no bigger game in their Premier League season to secure three points than the North London Derby.

Going into the game, Ange Postecoglou will be looking at the expected absences Mikel Arteta’s side are set to have.

Declan Rice will definitely be missing the game through suspension and it appears Martin Odegaard could well miss the game through an injury picked up on international duty.

There are still some games to be played during this international break and it looks like Tottenham won’t be escaping the early break without injury concerns of their own.

And this all comes following the injury issues they have already suffered in the early stages of the season.

Tottenham injury latest ahead of Arsenal clash

Tottenham have already experienced their own injury concerns in the opening three games with Micky van de Ven suffering from a hyperextended knee.

Dominic Solanke is also an injury worry ahead of the Arsenal game having missed two of the opening three games this season.

And it seems as if there could well be another name added to the list on Tuesday following an international game.

On Tuesday afternoon, Yves Bissouma exited Mali’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Eswatini with an injury issue.

The extent of the injury has not yet been revealed but the midfielder was removed shortly after the hour mark.

Having scored the only goal of the game – and his second of the international break – this will come as a real blow to both Bissouma and potentially Spurs.

Yves Bissouma is on his last Tottenham chance

It has been a rocky start to the season for Bissouma who was serving a one-game suspension from the club in the opener against Leicester City.

However, upon his return, Bissouma scored a stunning strike in the game against Everton where he apologised to the fans for his off-field actions with his celebration.

But Bissouma is believed to be on his final chance with postecoglou at Tottenham following the events which took place prior to the season opener.

And going into the North London Derby, losing a midfielder of Bissouma’s ‘amazing‘ quality is the last thing Postecoglou will have hoped for.
