Spurs are edging ever closer to signing Cristian Romero.
Tottenham have been linked with the Argentina international for weeks.
And over the past few days, things have certainly been heading in the right direction.

As per the Evening Standard, Romero arrived in London from Italy on Thursday to complete a medical and sign a five-year contract.
This was after Spurs had agreed a deal worth up to €55million, or around £47million, with Atalanta.
Now, two major developments have just taken place which pave the way for the Romero transfer to move closer to the finish line.
Firstly, Juventus confirmed that Atalanta have exercised the option rights to sign the 23-year-old for €16million (around £13.5million).
Romero was in fact on Juve’s books, and Atalanta had a loan-to-buy agreement with the Turin side.
Secondly, the Bergamo club has just announced Merih Demiral’s arrival from Juve on a loan-to-buy agreement.
This means they now have Romero’s replacement, paving the way for Spurs to finally sign the Copa America champion.

Romero to Spurs: “I’d like to thank Paratici”
Before flying from Bergamo to London on Thursday, Romero spoke to Italian media about his imminent move.
“I’m very happy for the year I’ve just had at Atalanta,” Tuttomercatoweb quotes him as telling Sky Italia.
“I’m sorry to be leaving the club but I’m nonetheless happy about my decision – I must continue to grow.
“I’d like to thank (Fabio) Paratici for showing interest in me.
“The (Spurs) project appealed to me straight away and I’ll have to deliver on the pitch.”
