Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski has been speaking to Gazzetta Dello Sport and says he’s never seen anyone as ‘motivated’ as Antonio Conte is right now.

Kulusevski made the switch from Juventus back in January and has been a revelation for Spurs so far.

The 22-year-old has forged brilliant relationships with Tottenham stars Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son.

But the Swedish international was going through a difficult spell in Turin before making the loan switch to Spurs.

And now Kulusevski has praised Conte for helping him rediscover his best form in north London.

Kulusevski on ‘motivated’ Conte

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Kulusevski has admitted that he was not enjoying life under Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri before moving to Spurs

“I wasn’t happy at Juventus so joining Tottenham was a great choice for me. I’m so happy to work under Conte”.

“Trust me, I’ve never seen anyone in my life motivated as Antonio Conte. His words enter into your heart”. as transcribed by Fabrizio Romano.

The Spurs winger has put in some dazzling displays under Conte so far and it’s clear he enjoys working under the Italian.

Kulusevski showed great promise during his time in Italy and even won the Serie A’s young player of the year award in 2020.

But it didn’t work out for the Swede in Turin and he often found playing time hard to come by.

Conte will be delighted to have picked up such a talented player though and Kulusevski looks set to be a permanent fixture in the Spurs side for years to come.

The Italian is building an excellent side at Tottenham and the club appears to be moving in the right direction.

Kulusevski has had to take his turn on the Spurs bench in recent weeks due to the form of Richarlison. But the winger was back in the starting lineup against Leicester last weekend and put in another assured display.

The former Juve man will be hoping to keep his place in the side ahead of a huge clash against Arsenal on Saturday.
