England need a new manager.
After eight successful years, the Gareth Southgate era is over, and the Three Lions need a new gaffer.
Jurgen Klopp has been tentatively linked with the vacant post as the England manager, with Harry Redknapp claiming that the German is the man to take England forward.
Speaking to The Mirror, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been discussing the idea of Klopp replacing Southgate.
The right-back says he would be shocked to his core if Klopp took this job after making it clear he wants a break from football.
However, Alexander-Arnold also says that he would be very happy if Klopp took the England job, claiming that he loved every minute of working with the German.
How Trent Alexander-Arnold would react if Jurgen Klopp became England manager
Alexander-Arnold spoke about his former gaffer.
“How would you feel if you put the radio on and you hear that Jurgen Klopp is the new England manager?” The defender was asked.
“I would be surprised. Yeah I’d be surprised. I think it was clear when he announced he was leaving Liverpool and from the conversations I’ve had with him and what he’s doing on social media he’s enjoying his break and he felt like he needed a break from football. It would be a huge surprise if that was the case, I think we can rule that one out,” Alexander-Arnold said.
“Of course (I would be happy). I enjoyed every single minute of working with him and we created amazing memories and have an amazing bond and relationship, so if that was ever the case we would pick up where we left off.”

Jurgen Klopp would be perfect
Jurgen Klopp would be a perfect choice to manage England.
He knows most of the players from his time in the Premier League, his style of football is exciting and it’s also very successful.
Of course, getting Klopp to renege on his plan to take a break from football won’t be easy, and while it’s not likely to happen, the FA would be foolish not to at least ask the question of the former Liverpool gaffer.
