Harry Redknapp has now shared his verdict on former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp taking the England job after Gareth Southgate’s exit.
The Anfield legend has emerged as a surprise candidate for the Three Lions role, with pundits such as Richard Keys suggesting that Klopp could be perfect for England, having become a free agent this summer.
With Klopp also approached for the USA job, a move into international management could be on the cards for the German coach having dominated the club scene with Liverpool for the last nine years.
And Premier League icon Redknapp has now shared if he thinks Klopp would be good for England.

Klopp tipped to succeed in England role after leaving Liverpool
Speaking on TalkSport, the former Tottenham manager gave his support behind the push for Klopp to succeed Southgate for England, with the FA expected to make a decision in the coming weeks on who will become the new head coach.
With Eddie Howe the current favourite for the role, there’s already some strong competition for the position, with Klopp yet to be reliably linked with the job despite so much support behind the former Liverpool manager.
And Klopp now has another fan in Redknapp, who voiced his support behind the German coach being appointed England manager just two months after leaving the Liverpool position at Anfield.
Redknapp said on if Klopp would suit the England manager role after Southgate’s departure: “If someone like Klopp came up, I think he would be great. Big personality, you could see him get the lads together, you see him on the touchline.”

Klopp needs to shut down England speculation before it spreads
Klopp has made it abundantly clear that he wants to take a break from football, with the German manager seemingly exhausted after nine restless years with Liverpool.
And with multiple pundits now coming out and suggesting that Klopp could be an option for England, the former Liverpool man needs to come and clear up his feelings on taking the role
Indeed, Klopp is seemingly eager to stick it out with his year off, and the sooner the Anfield legend can let his thoughts known, the sooner everyone can move on from this rumour.
