Transfer latest: Newcastle want £50m PL star; Spurs eye Barella

To kick off our latest transfer round-up, Newcastle United are considering a move for Leicester City star Harvey Barnes. The Magpies want to strengthen in attacking midfield and are keen on Anthony Gordon and Jack Harrison. But the Foxes want £50 million for the 24-year-old, according to The Sun.

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Nicolo Barella, but Antonio Conte signing the 25-year-old in this window is unlikely. Instead, Spurs may well pursue a deal for the Italy international next summer, according to Il Messaggero.
