Transfer latest: Arsenal to announce Zinchenko; Perkins set for Leeds

Arsenal are expected to announce their latest signing in the transfer window at the start of this week. The Gunners are closing in on a deal for Oleksandr Zinchenko. And agreeing personal terms is unlikely to be a problem for the £35 million for the Manchester City star, the Daily Mail reports.

Leeds United should also be able to announce a new signing imminently. The Whites have agreed terms with Sonny Perkins and the former West Ham youngster has undergone a medical. Jesse Marsch’s side will unveil the forward very soon, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid for Memphis Depay over the weekend. The Dutchman has accepted that he needs to leave Barcelona this summer. And Spurs are willing to pay £14.5 million for the 28-year-old ahead of the final year of his contract, Sport claims.

Southampton have set a £40 million asking price for Kyle Walker-Peters. The full-back is wanted by a host of clubs this summer, including Arsenal. But the Saints are ready to dig their heels in to make sure that he stays on the south coast, according to The Sun.

Transfer latest: Rangers agree £4m deal; Arsenal start talks to sign Arthur

Nottingham Forest are close to signing two more players, with deals agreed for Huddersfield Town pair Lewis O’Brien and Harry Toffolo. Remarkably, Steve Cooper’s men will pay under £10 million initially for the duo, according to The Telegraph.

Rangers are closing in on their next signing with a deal agreed with Liverpool for Ben Davies. The Gers are ready to bring the centre-back in to replace Calvin Bassey. And Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men will pay £4 million for the Reds player, Sky Sports reports.

Everton are considering an approach for Middlesbrough youngster Marcus Tavernier. The Championship side have now rejected bids from Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth for the 23-year-old. But the Toffees are also admirers of the versatile midfielder, 90min claims.
