Respected journalist and transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has claimed that Tottenham are very much still in the hunt to try and sign impressive Fiorentina striker, Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic has been in the sights of Tottenham for some time. Reports even up to October this year said that the Serbian was still very much a target for the Premier League outfit. Further, Romano confirmed in his YouTube video this weekend that Tottenham did indeed make an approach in the summer.

And while listing the teams who are keen on Vlahovic, Romano dropped in that Spurs very much remain one of the interested parties when it comes to the Fiorentina ace.
“Arsenal were interested but Vlahovic at the moment is not interested in a move to Arsenal. Juventus have an interest, but January would be complicated for them. The price is around 70m Euros for Fiorentina. Tottenham are still interested, but keep an eye on potential surprises with Vlahovic,” Romano told his YouTube channel.
Vlahovic is certainly making waves across Europe. He scored twice again this weekend and is now one off overtaking Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of goals in a calendar year in Serie A.
TBR’s View: Tottenham Will Be Hoping For Conte Effect When It Comes To Dusan Vlahovic
With so many big clubs keen on Vlahovic, Tottenham will be hoping for a sprinkling of Conte magic when it comes to this quite brilliant striker. Because with Champions League football, it seems hard to convince the Serbian.
Of course, he might simply fancy the challenge. Especially so, if Harry Kane does end up leaving Tottenham.
Vlahovic is already working at a world-class level. The frightening thing is he is likely to get even better. And even if the price is over £60m, it could well be worth it. Tottenham would, of course, love Vlahovic. But at the moment, it just seems a tough sell.
