Tottenham remain keen on the idea of signing Fiorentina striker, Dusan Vlahovic, but are more likely to wait until the summer months to pursue a bid for the Serbian.
That’s according to The Athletic, who claim that Vlahovic still remains firmly on the radar of Spurs and Fabio Paratici. The impressive striker, dubbed the ‘New Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ by some, scored 21 times for La Viola last season in Serie A.

Tottenham were linked with a £54m move for Vlahovic in the summer transfer window. However, the star striker stayed put, with Fiorentina hopeful their man would sign a new deal.
But reports this week, confirmed by The Athletic, have stated that Vlahovic won’t be extending his deal beyond 2023. That, of course, means the Italian side will now be looking to cash-in while they can.
There’ve been murmurings of a January move by Spurs for Vlahovic. But it seems, for now at least, Paratici and Levy will wait until the summer.
TBR’s View: Vlahovic transfer set to cause an almighty scrap
Tottenham are right to be involved here but they must know they’ll face a huge challenge to land Vlahovic. A host of top clubs, including Juventus and North London rivals, Arsenal, are all keen.
A lot could come down to the fee, and of course, wages on offer. Vlahovic is a man in-demand, and rightly so, too. But he will want the right package, and the right club.
Question marks continue over the future of Harry Kane at Spurs. Should he leave, then Vlahovic is surely the most viable replacement.
