Tottenham will almost certainly make a move for Brentford midfielder, Christian Eriksen, if they make the Champions League places on Sunday.
A win for Spurs against Norwich will seal the deal for Antonio Conte’s side, who have reeled in and overtook Arsenal in the race for fourth spot. Tottenham are expected to comfortably see off the Canaries, who are comfortably down after another miserable Premier League season.
And according to GiveMeSport, if Tottenham to beat Norwich and seal a top four spot, then they’ll move for former midfielder Eriksen.

The Danish star has been outstanding since he made a surprise move to Brentford in January. Eriksen has lifted the level with the Bees and a top half finish is even possible for Thomas Frank’s side.
However, according to GMS – who have been speaking to journalist Dean Jones – Brentford will struggle to keep Eriksen if Spurs make the top four. Jones is quoted in the report as saying that there is a ‘desire’ at Tottenham to bring Eriksen back to North London. And that desire is especially so if a Champions League spot is secured.
Eriksen enjoyed a fine spell with Tottenham previously. A move to Inter Milan went well, too, before his nightmare in the Euros meant he had to leave the Serie A giants.
TBR’s View: Eriksen Instantly Improves Tottenham If He Signs
In all honesty, even if Spurs don’t make it into the top four by some miracle, then signing Eriksen is still an upgrade.
The Dane has shown how good he is for Brentford. Goals, assists, and a footballing brain that few have in the game.
Lauded for his ‘incredible’ form since arriving at Brentford, there is a definite argument for Tottenham bringing back a player who many never wanted to say goodbye to anyway.
