Tottenham will make a quick move to bring in Brighton coach, Graham Potter, if Antonio Conte decides to walk away this summer.
Despite leading Spurs to the brink of the top four, Conte’s future with Tottenham remains uncertain. There are differing opinions and reports suggesting the Italian isn’t overly happy with the club’s plans, and that he wants top players signed to challenge for top spot.
However, should Conte decide to walk away, Football.London has claimed that Spurs will rekindle their interest in Graham Potter. The Brighton coach is highly thought of in England and has enjoyed a fine season yet again with the Seagulls.

Potter was on the radar of Everton in January. Of course, as we know, the Englishman stayed at the AMEX and it’s been a decision that’s proved to be the right one. Branded as an ‘unbelievable’ coach by former Brighton man Will Buckley, Potter is widely regarded as one of the top English managers in the game.
Tottenham are hoping it doesn’t come to this, however. Daniel Levy and the board are hoping for some form of commitment from Conte before the summer. From there, the club can then prepare for the market the best they can.
TBR’s View: Graham Potter Would Be Another Big Change For Tottenham
There is no doubting that Potter is a great manager who will move on from Brighton one day. He’ll want to challenge himself that big higher, and Spurs are a good fit.
However, for Tottenham as a club, appointing Potter would be a huge shift from Conte. They would need to give Potter plenty of time, patience, and a bit of money, to get things right like he has with Brighton.
Naturally, Spurs fans will be hoping Conte sticks around for some time yet. But should Conte leave, then Potter is up there in terms of the best replacements available.
