Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a close eye on Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite, despite adding Radu Dragusin during the January window.
Branthwaite has been one the stars of the show for Everton this season under Sean Dyche.
However, his performances have attracted admiring glances from elsewhere.
Arsenal are known to be keen on the youngster, while Tottenham’s interest has also been reported previously.
Tottenham keeping up interest in Jarrad Branthwaite
According to a report from the Daily Mail today, Tottenham’s interest in Branthwaite has not come to and just yet, despite them signing Radu Dragusin.
It’s claimed that Spurs are very much keeping a watching brief on Branthwaite ahead of the summer, where Everton would be expected to demand around £75m for the defender.

Branthwaite has been hugely impressive all season and his defensive teammate, James Tarkowski, has spoken highly of him.
“He’s a physical beast. I trust that I can leave him one vs one in the channel because he’s so quick. I think he might be our quickest player. People try and run him down the line, I think Antonio tried to run him and we know Antonio is a monster himself, and Jarrad just dealt with him down the line and I was like fair enough, I’ll let you deal with it,” Tarkowski told Fozcast.
Branthwaite is an outside contender to make the England squad for this summer’s Euros as well, having impressed at under-21s level.
A star in the making
Just like many who have come before him, Jarrad Branthwaite looks like being a real player whose future lies with one of the very top clubs.
We saw John Stones develop at Everton and move onto Manchester City and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Branthwaite to follow a similar sort of path.
Right now, there are few better young defenders in Europe and Branthwaite is going to be a man in-demand.
For Tottenham, he’d give them unbelievable depth at the back with Romero, Van de Ven and Dragusin.
Quite whether they’ll pay the fee needed, too, remains to be seen. However, Branthwaite is a future star and over time, will be worth the money.
