In what could be a major twist in the Gabriel Jesus saga, reports from Spain have claimed Tottenham have now spoken to the player’s agents as recent as yesterday.
Despite multiple reports in England suggesting Arsenal are close to landing Jesus, AS has today claimed that Tottenham have made their move and are in fact confident they can land the City star.
AS claims that Jesus has a high priority of playing Champions League football and with that, Fabio Paratici is confident he can beat off Arsenal in the race to sign the striker.

If this information is right then it throws a huge spanner in the works for Mikel Arteta and Edu. There is a belief among the the Arsenal pair that they have convinced Jesus to join. But this update from Spain would suggest there is still work to do in completing the deal.
Like Arsenal, Tottenham are interested in a number of players this summer and are even being linked with the same names. The likes of Richarlison and Raphinha have both been linked to both clubs.
TBR’s View: Can Tottenham Do The Unthinkable Here?
What a nightmare this is for Arsenal fans. But what a potential dream for Tottenham supporters.
If Paratici somehow manages to pull this off then it will go down like a lead balloon in the red half of North London, while being celebrated wildly in the white and blue half. It would really be huge if Paratici pinches Jesus from under the nose of Edu.
Of course, how true the reports are, we’ll have to see. But Tottenham are pushing and the mention of Champions League football will worry those at Arsenal. As will the lure of playing under Conte.
Gabriel Jesus to Tottenham? As it stands, it just might happen.
